Near focused (N)
- Focused design enhances the weares ability to spend extended periods of time on close tasks. Ideal for those who enjoy reading or use computers extensively, but still giving comfort and clarity in all areas.
Central Workplace (I)
- Central design is focused around creating a seamless transition through the lenses, giving extra emphasis on the intermediate vision. Ideal for those focused on more indoor use, but not wanting to be restricted by office lenses.
Active Distance (D)
- Active design is based on the principle that just because you need a varifocal doesn’t mean you spend all day in an office or don’t enjoy active sports. The lens has a more dynamic distance zone, but can still be comfortably used for any distance when required.

UV Filter
- For 1.5 index this filters out harmful UV light. Other indexes and materials have UV built in
Hard coat
- Improves scratch resistance by creating a barrier between the lens and abrasive surfaces
HMC
- Minimises glare
- Hard coat improves life span of lens
Hydro HMC
- Hydrophobic and Oleophobic layers reduce the need for cleaning
- Minimises glare
- Hard coat improves life span of lens
Hydro + HMC
- Hydrophobic and Oleophobic layers reduce the need for cleaning
- Minimises glare
- Hard coat improves life span of lens
- Antistatic properties reduce static built up on the lens, avoiding dust becoming attracted to the surface
DSW Crystal+
- Achromatic AR coating reduces residual colour from the coating
- Hydrophobic and Oleophobic layers reduce the need for cleaning

Measurements
The height varies depending on the progression length. Recommended minimum height is 15mm.
When measuring progressive lens you must keep minimum 9 mm from the top of the frame.
Extra measurements such us Pantoscopic Tilt, Wrap angle and vertex distance should be taken for the best possible result on all individualise lenses.
Measuring ruler to take all 3 parameters it’s available to order by phone 01254 265 368 or email dswoptical@googlemail.com
